“God of truth and goodness, in these times of strong decisions for our country France,
help us to discern correctly what is right.

Renew in us, every morning, the taste for service, so that we may accomplish our tasks with heart.
and keep us from despising any human being whatsoever.

Come, Holy Spirit, enlighten those who will be chosen as deputies or will have to govern our country.

May they together seek the best for all of us.
Imprint in them a great sense of service to the common good.

Holy Virgin Mary, Saint Joan of Arc, Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, patronesses of France, watch over our country.
May it be a land of liberty, justice, fraternity and live up to its role in history.

Help us to be, in our modest place but according to all our responsibility, disciples of the Gospel.
