advice from Muriel Lacroix-Pringarbe
The point of view of Muriel Lacroix-Pringarbe, committed entrepreneur
Dear Sadrine, you are entrusting us with a painful situation which must be resolved quickly. Today, your mother finds herself dependent on a team of professionals who work in her home. We are indeed talking about “professionals”: home help companies have an obligation of result – the well-being of your mother -, and not only of means – sending someone to her, with or without qualification -, of as much as the consequences can be very serious. Start by noting the malfunctions by registered letter and, unless there is an improvement, refuse the presence of this unscrupulous assistant. Look for another company, which is your strictest right when your mother's health is at stake. If you cannot find one, you will have to recruit professionals directly to support you. Remember to activate the network of doctors, physiotherapists and nurses who take care of your mother: they surely have reliable knowledge to advise you. If that were not enough, we should perhaps consider entering a nursing home with her. Sandrine, I wish you and your mother to meet trained and empathetic people, like so many, who will know how to take care of her.
