Four monuments saved thanks to the Bern mission
In Rupt (Haute-Marne), this classic pavilion, elegantly transformed in the 19th century for a family of masters of forges, is unique in its kind. He proudly sports his new roofs thanks to the € 500,000 allocated in 2021 by the Heritage Mission.
When Pascal Plantegenet bought it twenty years ago, “because he touched me,” he said, trees pushed in the walls. A former building, this entrepreneur himself restores what he can, with the help of his son: staircases with opened cast iron ramps, winter garden with stained glass … “I want to open it to the public with his three hectare park and I hope to be a day part of the iron road which links steel sites of the department”, he specifies.
