The captains of industry.

The media are making a fuss over the salary and benefits of Mr. Carlos Tabarès, boss of Stellantis, better known as Peugeot/Citroën. We are talking about millions that I no longer dare display because they are so indecent. I understand the reaction of ordinary people but we must not forget two things, firstly, the sums in question are in accordance with Mr. Tabarès' employment contract, it is only his due. Secondly, leading and imposing an industrial group of this magnitude requires qualities and skills that are not found under the hooves of a horse. Our country needs great captains of industry, there are few on the market and everyone is competing for them, everyone is competing for them. We still want Tabares!
