Amazing Travelers Festival in Saint-Malo. Our favorite books

One hundred and fifty guests from all over the world, two hundred meetings, fifty films, a book fair, six literary prizes… the Saint-Malo city is preparing for its International Book and Film Festival, champion of a literature that speaks the world . Among the multitude: many guests from the East around the Polish Olga Tokarczuk, Nobel Prize for Literature 2018, as well as a special from Quebec. The novelist Beata Umubyeyi Mairesse, who describes her journey as a survivor of the Rwandan genocide in Le convoy (Flammarion), is a finalist for the Ouest-France prize. For their part, Nathacha Appanah who tells us about the Indian coolies of Mauritius and Estelle-Sarah Bulle, the Creoles from Guadeloupe, are, rightly, selected for the Joseph-Kessel prize. We wish them good luck!
