In Côte-d’Or, a dead boar left in front of a mosque
A dead boar was left on the night of Friday November 1 to Saturday November 2 in front of the premises of a Franco-Turkish association housing a mosque in Saint-Usage (Côte-d’Or), a village of 1,300 inhabitants near Dijon, learned from the Côte-d’Or prefecture.
The police were immediately called to the scene and a judicial investigation was opened. Minister Retailleau raised the matter on Saturday morning on X, denouncing “an intolerable anti-Muslim act, two days after the attempted fire at the Amiens Mosque, for which an investigation is underway”.
Tuesday morning, firefighters intervened to extinguish the flames in front of a door of the Assounna mosque, located rue Victorine Autier in Amiens. The police, who discovered flammable products at the scene, opened an investigation. “I want to express to the believers in these communities my support and that of the State. Attacking places of worship is extremely cowardly and amounts to barbaric violence.”added the Minister of the Interior.
