“My group of friends, the family I chose for myself”
Five of your pieces play at the same time. A triumph!
The public is thirsty for narrative theater, close to series: stories rich in twists and turns and emotions, carried by a troupe.
What do your creations say about you?
Each one tells a little about me. Edmond the young author in search of success; A love story, rebirth after a breakup… All testify to my desire to arouse desire: opening a book after having seen The bearer of history, call your parents afterwards Intra Muros .
Your latest cultural favorite?
The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. A big show with monuments, Aya Nakamura dancing with the Republican Guard, the finale on the Hymn to love by Piaf… It reminded me how beautiful my city is and France, a melting pot of cultures.
The film you could watch a hundred times?
Musicals, the most demanding art. Especially Let’s sing in the rain. I’m always swept away by the “Good Morning” scene, where the trio of actors look like they’re having a blast, while Debbie Reynolds finished the takes with bloody feet.
The person who meant the most in your family?
My mother. An example of generosity and limitless curiosity for kung fu films and even athletics competitions. I get from her – who orchestrated our trips and school fairs – the soul of a troop leader.
A gesture of happy sobriety?
My “Tingo” WhatsApp group to share my car with my friends. And, when I leave Paris, I lend my apartment to relatives. For me, sobriety comes through community.
For what cause would you mobilize?
Against racism. I would like some spectators to leave my room Passport by looking at the refugees in the street with empathy, as human beings forged by their journey.
Guardian angel on your shoulder?
Aïda, Régis, Olivier… My group of friends, the family I chose for myself. We go on vacation, we often celebrate Christmas together. It is for them and through them that I live.
You are offered immortality. Do you sign?
Oh yes! I’m so curious to know what’s going to happen.
