The exceptional atmosphere of the Paris 2024 Games is back! Since the start of the Paralympic competition on August 28, spectators have been flocking in – more than two million tickets have been sold – and applauding each event. The French delegation had the stands vibrating the day after the opening thanks to cyclist Marie Patouillet (opening photo) who won silver in the track time trial.

While Djelika Diallo (photo 2 below) won the first French medal in the history of para-taekwondo: silver.

On August 31, brothers Alex (left) and Kylian Portal (photo 3 below) electrified the Paris La Défense Arena swimming pool by taking second and third place respectively on the podium in the 400-meter freestyle reserved for the visually impaired.

A few hours earlier, cyclist Dorian Foulon (photo below 4) led the 4,000-meter pursuit race, almost in the lead throughout… The champion could not suppress his tears of happiness. Unforgettable moments that already make these Paralympic Games a success.
