Three ideas to better choose our school supplies
The challenge
Twelve million schoolchildren, college and high school students, one million teachers, three million students… And as many filled pencil cases and satchels or bags stuffed with notebooks. Not to mention the millions of French people working in offices who also use “school supplies”. At the start of the new school year, mass distribution, which attracts more than 80% of the market share of this sector, pushes us with great publicity to renew this equipment. The health authorities are alarmed by the harmful substances still too often contained in these objects handled all day long, sometimes chewed. On the waste side, the di culty lies in their size and their composition: plastic, metal, felt, rubber, everything is often superimposed in a few square centimeters. Common sense and vigilance can, however, allow us to circumvent certain obstacles. Let’s review our copy!
