a detailed reconstruction of the cathedral in LEGO!
The announcement is already delighting LEGO fans and architecture buffs. After winning the hearts of brick fans with iconic replicas like the Eiffel Tower, LEGO continues to celebrate world heritage with a reproduction of Notre-Dame de Paris, as it prepares to reopen its doors on 8 December 2024, after five years of construction.
The Danish company LEGO therefore offers a detailed reconstruction of the emblematic building, from its laying of the foundation stone in 1163 to its appearance before the devastating fire of 2019.
A few months before the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris, the model of the cathedral, details of which can be seen on the official LEGO website, is a meticulous replica of the Parisian icon. With its 4,383 pieces and imposing dimensions – 25 cm high, 14 cm wide and 14 cm deep – it presents an impressive level of detail, recreating authentic elements such as the curved rear, the bell towers, the rose windows and , of course, the arrow surrounded by the apostles.
