Believe in Cinema Prize 2026: 8 films in competition

“Cinema is a laboratory of hope, a place where man can once again contemplate himself and envisage his own destiny” declared Pope Leo XIV last November, in front of cinema professionals. A vision that matches that of the price Believe in cinema of which The Pilgrim has been a partner since its creation and has just announced its annual selection.

Created by the SIGNIS Cinéma association, this prize recognizes each year a film (fiction, documentary or animation) for its artistic qualities and the values ​​it highlights, such as peace, justice, forgiveness, solidarity with the most vulnerable, respect for human dignity or protection of the environment.

The 2026 winner will be revealed on Thursday January 29, 2026. The award ceremony will take place in March, in public, at the Les 7 Parnassiens cinema, Paris 14th, in the presence of the film team.
