In his soft and deep voice, the one who works in a part-time newspaper to finance her musical projects ignites: “In the desert / the infinite jostles me / I leave behind / everything that consumes me.”

The words are inspired by his personal experiences: “I am a very sensitive person. My guitar, my trumpet or my voice are the most natural means that I have found to express my emotions from a very young age. Then to give thanks to God, a few years later. ”

Born in a Christian family, not practicing, Chloé rediscovers her faith in adulthood, thanks to her brother returned “transformed” from the World Youth Days: “I wanted to understand why he was soly with Jesus”, s ‘she slaughter. Besides, the stage name of the young woman mixes her first name and that of her big brother, Tim.

Everything is conducive to prayer

This norman of origin is readily confessed to it: “If I write more easily in the privacy of my room, all the places I meet are conducive to prayer, whether in a crowded Parisian metro or in front of a cliff of the Le Havre coast. »»

The songs of Chloé do not explicitly evoke his faith, but universal experiences, such as the joy of a birth, the handicap, the loneliness, the loss of a loved one … “I am not trying to convert, I myself Address to all those who are in search of meaning. And who knows, maybe one of them will take the risk of believing. »»
