The word that makes it be
Sandra Aroulandamember of the Christian community of the Notre-Dame-des-Anges chapel (Paris VI):
In this passage from the Gospel, the very mystery of the Trinity is said, evoking these incredible ties between the Father, the Son and the Spirit. From this communication that makes them be, Jesus announces to his disciples: “I still have a lot to tell you. As if to emphasize that my word also needs the other’s word to be.
The truth is not something that we have, but that happens in the words that we carry. What are the words of Christ I wear and that carry me? “But what he heard, the mind will say. The Spirit wants to make heard what Christ said, which in turn takes up everything that the Father wanted to reveal.
Each baptized thus has a clean way of glorifying God. And me, what does the Holy Spirit say to me? Do I ask him to help me see more clearly? “All that the father has is mine. “Let us think of the words of the father of the parable of the prodigal son:” You, my child, you are always with me, and everything that is mine is yours. Christ wants to open everyone to this intimacy with the father full of tenderness. This father who wants to bring us into life with him. It’s up to us to respond to his invitation.
