European elections 2024. Candidates answer questions from the “Pilgrim”
It is not an insult to them to say that they are, with a few exceptions, little known to their voters. Elected by a national list ballot (and therefore not attached to a territory), in principle more diligent in Strasbourg and Brussels, where they sit, than in Paris, attached to European parliamentary groups poorly identified by their compatriots, the candidates French people in the June 9 election of the European Parliament suffer from a lack of recognition.
