How to make your own natural deodorant at home in 5 minutes?
To avoid plastic containers and unwanted substances from industrial deodorants, try homemade with this recipe that is as simple as it is effective.
1. Melt yellow beeswax and coconut oil
Melt 2 tbsp. tablespoon of coconut oil and 2 tbsp. tablespoons of yellow beeswax in granules.
2. Perfume your deodorant paste with an essential oil
Once the mixture has melted, add 1 tbsp. tablespoon of baking soda and 2 tbsp. tablespoon of cornstarch. Mix well until you get a paste. Before it hardens, add 8 drops of essential oils (EO) of lavender, tea tree, or palmarosa (avoid in pregnant women).
3. Metal box, old stick… choose your presentation
Fill a small silicone mold (for muffins), then leave to set out of reach of children so that there is no confusion with a cake. Unmold. Your deodorant is ready to use and stored in a metal or soap box. You can also pour the mixture into an old stick.
If you prefer cream deodorant, make the same recipe without the beeswax.
