“I hesitate to combine two volunteers”: what to choose?

The point of view of Muriel Lacroix-Prongarbe, a committed entrepreneur

Dear Claudine, first of all, rejoice! You are fortunate to live in a neighborhood with an active and united associative fabric. You are wondering whether to put your energy in pursuing your action within your food cooperative or supporting the emergence of a new project to the detriment of your first commitment. You seem to put these two volunteer projects in competition, no doubt because you are running out of time to invest in everyone up to your requirements.

A third way may be possible, Claudine. Have you thought about opening the kitchen of your food cooperative to this other aspiring association to create a place of life? Provided that the statutes allow and after verification of the two respective insurance contracts, you could consider it.

With regard to food products in a place of sale, the rules (hygiene, safety, etc.) may complicate this rapprochement. But if you are convinced that the union is strength and that multiplying associations is not desirable, talk to each other: you could arouse fruitful reflection.
