Take part in the “I love my bell tower” competition
Presentation of the competition
You can recognize the bell tower of your village from afar. This landmark in the landscape of France symbolizes our belonging and our history: family, local, heritage, spiritual… Whatever our convictions and our beliefs, we are all attached to them.
This is why our weekly, in partnership with the Fondation La Sauvegarde de l'art français, BFM Régions, RCF and actu.fr, is launching a competition on March 6, 2023 entitled “I love my bell tower”. Everyone can compete. All you need to do is send us a very personal letter, which tells of your emotional connection with the church or chapel of your choice, accompanied by a good photo.
To support our approach, Stéphane Bern, sponsor of this new prize, also publishes a letter to his bell tower, that of the abbey church of Thiron-Gardais (Eure-et-Loir) where this fervent defender of heritage took up residence after confinements.
The jury, which will meet in May, will examine all the letters received, accompanied by their photo, and will select one winner per region. Then, in June, the public will be invited to vote on our site, to determine, among the regional nominees, the national winner.
Good luck to everyone !
