At 20, Omar and his band are monitors in an airy center in a poor district of Marseille. Respected by families, they take their role seriously. Within their group where friendship is a fundamental virtue, only one young girl: the discreet Yasmine, 17, Omar’s girlfriend for whom she preserves her virginity. But the day when the embarrassment Carmen with a fire temperament, returns to the band, all the bonds of love and friendship are upset.
PrinCia because it stages, with vivacity, young people building themselves in a system of values where it is very difficult, for girls, to find a space of freedom between the image of the prostitute and that of the submissive woman. Although very raw and often steep by its dialogues, this fiction is full of great accuracy.
