In twenty years of career, it is my most intimate album. I wanted to thank those I love, and also the public, always present, to whom I dedicated There is only love in your home . I also had the joy of singing with my idol, Francis Cabrel.

What does this album reveal about you?

I never really said “I love you”, preferring to write it down in songs. With age, I break away from this modesty, reveal myself and become closer to the person I am. It’s liberating!

Your latest cultural favorite?

The lights the podcast created by Jonathan Langlois. He offers reflections on how to think about life. I loved the episode “What lies behind our need for recognition?” » with the philosopher Charles Pépin.

The film you could watch a hundred times?

Life is beautiful, by Roberto Benigni, about this father who, out of love for his son, transforms life in the concentration camp into a poetic game. He inspired my song Bouquet of roses released in 2019, which speaks of optimism. I addressed it to my sons, Jules and Marcel.

The person you have the most affection for?

My mother, Christine. I dedicated to him the moon in this new album. We have a unique bond. We are never far from each other.

A gene you’re happy to have inherited?

The nomadic side of my grandfather Joseph. He was always on the road, selling chichis and pizzas from a truck.

The place that inspires you to compose?

I set up a studio at home, but I never go there. I prefer to work between my living room and my kitchen.

A good plan to reconnect with nature?

Running in the fresh air, which I do every day!

A solidarity initiative that touched you?

The work of Yann Arthus-Bertrand. As much in ecology as for his book France, a family album (Ed. Actes Sud, 2025). His work unites and leads to the essential.

For you, Jesus, it is… A history and rites. As soon as I enter a church, I light a candle. I immediately think of those I love.
