"I get drunk on the experience of others"

“I get drunk on the experience of others”

Can you introduce us to your new program, “Vie à Vélo”, in a few words?

In twenty-six minutes, I go every week to meet people who have incredible courses, in connection with the bicycle. I thus pedaling with young people who completed a tour of Europe or crossed the way to a couple whose woman is visually impaired and who roll in tandem. I also address those who want to embark on sports or leisure practice. Because the bicycle is green and good for health!

What does this show reveal to you? The experience of others enriches me and nourishes my quest for authenticity. Whether by bike or in life, I don’t cheat.

The person who counts most in your family? I built myself around a trio: my father, who put me on a saddle at 6 years old and taught me everything to become a champion; My mother, who allowed me to put into perspective (“there is no problem, only solutions”); And my big sister, to whom I have always been able to entrust to.

A gene that you are happy to have inherited? Pugnacity. As a child, I saw my father get up every day at 5 am to go and drive a backhoe. In the evening, tired of this job he did not necessarily like, he never complained.

A cute sin? The chocolate fondant rises at the top of my record! At the restaurant, I choose the menus according to the dessert.

A quality that you would be proud to transmit to your son? Benevolence with regard to her school comrades and respect for women, to whom I already educate “my little man” of 3 and a half years.

A solidarity initiative that touched you? I support the Premier Cordée association, which leads sports events for sick and disabled children. Each time, I come back invigorated from these bicycle outings.

A place where you like to take refuge? I am a girl from the North. So, after intensive weeks of work, I appreciate reconnecting to this campaign, on the side of Maroilles.
